The 2015 Chardonnay Jos. Belli Vineyards was made from small yields, and according to Dick Arrowood, it is one of the top three vintages in his 50 years of experience. This wine offers loads of peach, honeysuckle, delicate apricot, caramelized citrus and apple blossom in a full-bodied, rich, discreetly oaked style. It is long, promising and super-concentrated. If this is an example of just how strong many 2015's will be, we’re in for another treat from Northern California. - Robert M. Parker, The Wine Advocate, Mar 2016

The Rose Cuvée is a blend of four traditionally Rhône-grown varieties — Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Viognier. This dry, floral, and fruity wine is very seductive on the palate and is an ideal complement for spring and summer cuisines.

Take a sip, and the first thing you will notice is a firm acidity that opens quickly onto dark black fruit with just a touch of anise. As your first impression fades, you will find deeply structured tannins that fill the palate, underscoring a finish redolent with chocolate, blueberry preserves, and aged cedar.

The 2013 Cuvée Alis (66% Grenache, 22% Mourvèdre and 12% Syrah) opens in the style of the great Rhône wines of France that are made from the same varieties; subtle at the start, with a slow build towards an exquisite display of aromatics. This is a multifaceted wine that redefines itself again and again over the course of a glass.

This wine is an excellent example of what this grape can become; the tannins are big, yet they are also round, firm, and elegantly smooth. The acidity is intense, yet carefully balances the wines body and depth of flavor. It begs to be aged, yet you may drink it now or hold for 10-plus years.

The 2012 vintage proved to be exceptional, yielding complex, balanced, and ripe fruit that resulted in lush, full-bodied wine. Plump raspberries, tart red currants, and just a hint of blueberry jam unfold on a rich bed of tannins backing up a bracing acidity. Notice how the front of the palate is crisp, with a distinct character of tart Rainier cherries.
Named after Richard’s wife and co-proprietor, Alis Demers Arrowood, this intense Rhône blend of 65 percent Syrah and 35 percent Grenache from estate vines offers a lightly perfumed nose of candied fruit, warm cherry pie and a hint of pepper and smoke.
